Luvhalsduk/scarf hoodie

SVENSKT MÖNSTER FINNS UNDER DET ENGELSKA

This pattern is from virrkpannan, I tried to do her pattern but failed. Possibly because I wanted my work too be tighter and thicker and therefore used a smaller needle. Furthermore she didn't have any measurements on the garment so I have tried too make the same proportions. One difference is that my scarf part should be knotted in the front.

Material:
crochet hook 4,0mm
yarn with gauge 22 stitches on 10cm (I used Sublime baby cashmere merino silk dk) yarnage 300g which is about 700m.

1: Start with 11 chains and make the first single crochet in the second chain from the hook, make sc in all chains (10sc). Make a chain and turn the work (every time you turn your work you make a ch) Continue to crochet sc but only in the back of the stitch, thus making a elastic work. Make 103 rows which gives about 52 cm long strip.

2: Pick up 103 sc along the long edge on the elastic.

3: Start with the structure pattern. If you want to make your hoodie bigger or smaller the amount of stitches must be able to be divided by 4*x+3 (4*24+3=103). The structure pattern is on youtube and is called "crochet the honey comb stitch". Continue with the pattern until the work measures 25cm on the height.

4: Fold the work on the middle and crochet them together with slip stitch. Remember that the side with the elastic should be near the face.

5: Now we will make the scarf part. Make 16 chains, which results in 15 sc (4*3+3=15). Continue with the structure pattern until the work measures 110 cm.

6: Fasten the scarf part too the hoodie.

Detta är ett mönster från virrkpannan jag försökte göra efter hennes mönster men misslyckades. Mycket på grund av att jag ville ha den tätare och därför arbeta med en mindre nål. Hon hade inga mått på hur stora de olika delarna var så jag har testat mig fram. En skillnad från orginalmönstret är att mitt mönster så skal man knyta själva halsduken.

Material:
Virknål 4,0mm
Garn med masktäthet på 22 maskor på 10cm (Jag använde Sublime baby cashmere merino silk dk) garnåtgång 300g vilket motsvarar cirka 700m.
Trubbig nål för montering

1: Börja med att göra 11 luftmaskor, gör den första fasta maskan i andra maskan från nålen och gör fasta maskor i alla de andra luftmaskorna (10fm). Gör en luftmaska och vänd arbetet (det görs en luftmaska varje gång man vänder arbetet), virka nu endast i de bakre maskbågarna. Genom att arbeta i de bakre maskbågarna skapas det en resår. Gör 103 varv vilket ger ett mått på cirka 52cm.

2: Plocka nu upp 103 fasta maskor efter den långa kanten på resåren

3: börja strukturmönstret, om du vill göra din huva större eller mindre måste antalet maskor kunna delas med 4*x + 3 (4*25+3 = 103). Strukturmönstret finns på youtube och heter crochet the honey comb stitch. Fortsätt med strukturmönstret tills arbetet mäter 25 cm på höjden.

4: Vik nu arbetet på mitten och virka ihop den längs ena sidan med smygmaskor. Tänk på att den sidan som ska vara vid ansiktet är resårsidan.

5: Gör 16 luftmaskor som du gör 15 fasta maskor i (4*3+3=15). Fortsätt med strukturmönstret tills arbetet är cirka 110 cm långt.

MÖNSTRET FINNS PÅ SVENSKA UNDER DET ENGELSKA MÖNSTRET

I made this pattern  from inspiration from a picture on facebook. There was a link to the original pay  pattern but I can not find it. The plan was to give you possibility too bye the pattern. I did not bye the pattern instead I did it by try and error.

You will need:
2,5 mm circular needles 50 cm (if you can't find 50 cm you can use magic loop)
3,0 mm circular needles 50 cm
tapestry needle
6 slip markers, one of them in contrasting colour.

Gauge:
28 stitches/ 10 cm on 3mm needles
 
cast on a number of stitches that you can divide by six that fits around your head with 2,5 mm needles. I cast on 144 stitches.
Knit rib stitch (k2, p2) for 3cm in black colour. Put the slip marker with contrasting colour in the start of the round.

change too 3,0 mm needles and *knit 6 rows of contrasting colour, (I used a yarn that change colour)
change colour to black and knit one row, than pull 5 rows*

repeat ** 6 times or to a desired length

now you will reduce the number of stitches and here is the reason to why the number of stitches should be dividable by six. You will reduce the number of stitches evenly six times every other row for two ** repeats than every row until you have 6 stitches left. For me this meant

144/6 = 24
(knit 22 stitches than knit two stitches together)x6
knit
(knit 21 stitches than knit two stitches together)x6  and so on

Put a marker after each six group (24 stitches) too make it easier to find where you will reduce next time.

when the row calls for pull stitch you pull the stitches together in similar way.

 Denna mössa är gjord utifrån en bild på en mössa på facebook. ´Det fanns en länk till mönstret men jag kan inte hitta det inlägget igen. Min tanke var att ni skulle få se originalmönstret och möjlighet till att köpa det. Själv har jag inte köpt mönstret utan har gjort den genom att testa mig fram.

Du behöver:
2,5 mm rundstickor 50 cm (om du inte kan finna den längden så tipsar jag om magick loop)
3,0 mm rundstickor 50 cm
Stopningsnål
6 markörer du kan fästa på själva stickan. En av de 6 markörerna ska vara i en kontrast färg.

Stickfasthet:
28 maskor / 10cm på 3,0 mm stickor

Lägg upp ett maskantal som går att dela med sex som passar runt ditt huvud med stickor 2,5mm. Jag lade upp 144 maskor.
Sticka resår (2r, 2a) i 3cm i svart garn. Placera den markören med kontrastfärg i början av varvet.
 
Byt till stickor 3,0mm och *sticka 6 varv med kontrastfärg (jag använde ett garn som bytte färg), byt färg till svart och sticka ett varv räta, gör sedan 5 rader med aviga maskor.*

upprepa ** 6 gånger eller till önskad längd
Nu ska vi minska antalet maskor och här är anledningen till att antalet maskor ska vara delbart med sex. Du kommer att minska antalet maskor 6 gånger jämnt över varanat varv. Upprepa detta för två ** upprepningar. Sen minskar du varje varv tills du har 6 maskor kvar. För mig innebar detta

144/6 = 24
(sticka 22 maskor sen stickar du ihop två maskor)x6
(sticka 21 maskor sen stickar du ihop två maskor)x6 och så vidare

Sätt en markering efter varje sex grupp (24 maskor) för att göra det lättare att hitta var du ska minska.

När mönstret säger att du ska göra aviga maskor så stickar du ihop maskorna aviga.

I found a picture of this heart on Pinterest. The link to the pattern did not work all I got was the picture once more. So I did my own interpretation of the pattern. Instead of free picots I used beads because I intend to hang it in the Christmas tree and want it too shine.
